Support — good invite

Last updated: July 14, 2026

good invite (also shown as "goodinvite") is an iMessage app for creating event invitations and collecting RSVPs, right inside a Messages conversation. If something isn't working or you have a question, this page should help — and you can always reach us directly at dbogle22@gmail.com.

Getting started

Open a conversation in Messages, tap the App Store icon in the app drawer, find goodinvite, and tap Create to start a new invite. Fill in the event details and tap Send — the invite appears as a live bubble in the conversation that everyone can tap to RSVP.

Common questions

Why don't I need to sign in or enter my name?

good invite doesn't use accounts. Every RSVP is anonymous by design — the app identifies your device with a random, anonymous ID so it can register your response and prevent duplicates, but it's never tied to your name or contact details. See our Privacy Policy for details.

My RSVP isn't updating / the tally looks wrong

Make sure you have a network connection and try reopening the conversation — the tally updates live while the thread is open. If it's still stuck, force-close and reopen Messages, then tap the invite bubble again. If the problem continues, email us with the approximate time and what you tapped, and we'll look into it.

What happens when an invite is full?

If the host set a headcount cap, responses after the cap is reached go on a waitlist. If a spot opens up (someone changes their RSVP to Not Going), the next person on the waitlist is offered the spot.

I can't see the invite / the app isn't showing up

good invite requires iOS with iMessage apps enabled (Settings → Messages → iMessage). If a participant is on an older OS, Android, or has iMessage apps disabled, they'll see a static fallback message instead of the live bubble, with the invite details included.

Requesting data deletion

Because we don't collect names or accounts, we can't look up "your" data by identity — but you can request deletion of a specific invite or RSVP by emailing dbogle22@gmail.com with the invite link or enough detail (event title and approximate date) for us to locate it.
