good invite (also shown as "goodinvite") is an iMessage app for creating event invitations and collecting RSVPs, right inside a Messages conversation. This policy explains what information the app handles and why.
good invite doesn't ask who you are. There's no sign-up, no login, no name field, and no guest list — every response is anonymous by design, including to the host. The app identifies your device with a random, anonymous ID so it can register your RSVP and prevent duplicate responses; that ID is never paired with your name, email, or any other identifying detail, because we never ask for one.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise or approximate device location, or browsing history, and the app contains no advertising, no analytics-for-tracking, and no third-party tracking SDKs of any kind.
We use this information solely to run the app's core feature: showing an invite, recording who's going, and displaying a live headcount inline in your Messages conversation. Because the app never collects a name or account in the first place, there's no guest list to show or hide — everyone's response is a count, not an identity.
Invite and RSVP data is kept for as long as the invite is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for the host's records. Because no name or account is ever collected, we can't look up "your" data by identity — but you can request deletion of a specific invite or RSVP by emailing dbogle22@gmail.com with the invite link or enough detail (event title and approximate date) for us to locate it.
good invite is not directed to children under 13, and because we never collect a name, email, or other identifying information from anyone, we have no way to knowingly identify or collect data from a child.
We may update this policy as the app develops. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
